Nathan Fewel founded Ironclad Growth to put AI to work inside operating businesses. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, he served as a nuclear submarine officer, responsible for the operation of the ship's reactor and engineering plant and for the teams that ran them.
After the Navy, he earned an MBA from Stanford and ran a small business-focused acquisition search. Nathan built the internal AI systems that handled the firm's core operations. After evaluating hundreds of companies' finances and operations, he noticed a pattern: most didn't need a buyer. They needed the kinds of systems that let a business scale without leaning on the owner for everything. So he turned the same approach outward, building those systems for the businesses themselves.
